Questions

How many square feet is one cent?

1 cent = 435.6 sq ft (about 40.47 sq m). 100 cents make one acre (43,560 sq ft). Cents are widely used for land in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

How is a triangle's area found from three sides?

With Heron's formula: s = (a + b + c) ÷ 2 and Area = √(s(s − a)(s − b)(s − c)). The three sides must satisfy the triangle rule — any two sides together must be longer than the third.

What is the area of a trapezium?

Half the sum of the parallel sides times the height: Area = ½ × (a + b) × h.
