Questions

How do I convert Celsius to Fahrenheit?

°F = °C × 9/5 + 32. So 37 °C = 98.6 °F. To go back, °C = (°F − 32) × 5/9.

What is a fever in Fahrenheit?

A temperature of 38 °C (100.4 °F) or higher is usually treated as a fever. Normal body temperature is about 36.5–37.5 °C (97.7–99.5 °F).

Why can Kelvin not be negative?

Kelvin starts at absolute zero (−273.15 °C), the coldest possible temperature, so there are no negative kelvins. Rankine is the same idea using Fahrenheit-sized degrees.
