Questions
Are these real fonts?
No — they are special Unicode characters (mostly from the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block) that look like styled letters. That is why they keep their style when pasted into apps that don’t allow formatting.
Will everyone see them?
Most modern phones and computers show them. Very old devices may show boxes. Screen readers may read them letter by letter or skip them, so avoid them for important information.
Why are Tamil letters not styled?
Unicode only has styled versions of the English (Latin) letters A–Z and digits 0–9. Other characters are left unchanged.
