Questions
Does this verify the signature?
No. It only decodes the token so you can read it. Anyone can decode a JWT, so a decoded token proves nothing until your server verifies its signature with the secret or public key.
Is it safe to paste my token here?
This decoder runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing. Even so, a live token is like a password — never paste one into websites you don't trust, and prefer expired or test tokens.
What are exp, iat and nbf?
They are Unix timestamps in seconds: exp is when the token expires, iat is when it was issued and nbf is the time before which it must not be accepted.
